Can you send text messages to any mobile phone?
Yes, absolutely. Our SMS Text Messaging platform is designed to send SMS warnings to any mobile phone in the world.
Do you have a list of networks to which your warnings will be delivered?
Yes, we do. Please check our cellular carrier list to see if your mobile phone network has been tested to receive our SMS Text Messages.
Do I need to buy or install anything special to be able to receive your alerts on my phone?
No. All you need is your mobile phone (any model), the phone being switched on and network signal (any network, either GSM or CDMA). In simple words, if your phone can receive phone calls, so it will also be able to receive our SMS Text Messages.
What's a GSM and CDMA network?
In cellular service there are two main competing network technologies: Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) and Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA). Cellular carriers all around the world including Verizon, Vodafone and T-Mobile use one or the other. So do you.
It is approximated that 80 percent of the world uses GSM technology when placing and receiving wireless calls. This amounts to nearly 3 billion global people. The remaining part uses CDMA network technologies.
